The Transfer Station is located at 64 Bay Point Rd.

In the event of inclement weather, call ahead at 207-371-2148.

Calendar for 2024:

The Transfer Station (TS) is open on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9-4.

The Transfer Station is also open on the following holiday Mondays:

• May 15 – Memorial Day
• June 19 – Juneteenth
• September 12 – Labor Day
• October 14 – Indigenous Peoples’ Day

The Transfer Station will be open from 9-1 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

The Transfer Station will be closedon Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

TRANSFER STATION STICKERS
Transfer Station stickers are required to be displayed in order to drop off trash and recycling materials. Transfer Station stickers are available at the Town Office. Owners of rental properties may request stickers for their tenants. Everyone must obtain and display a sticker as soon as possible.
Please call the Town Office at 371-2820 to arrange to pick up your sticker.

RECYCLING
Remember, recycling saves tax dollars!  You can recycle newspapers, magazines, catalogs, miscellaneous household paper, cardboard, glass, tin, metals, #2 plastics, batteries (not car batteries), computers and computer accessories, TV’s and fluorescent light bulbs.

All paper (mixed, newspapers, catalogs) except corrugated cardboard goes in one bin now at the transfer station.
